Pros

Many people do a terrific job and they are compensated. The company is not too big that the owners are inaccessible and they do their best to recognize people.

Cons

There are people who are left to flounder in positions for a long time, being overpaid for doing nothing while the superstars of the company become overwhelmed. There is terrible communication from the top down and management has no respect in regards to reviewing employees on time to let them know where they stand.

Advice to Management

Communicate better, make sure the employees know where they stand at all times and what they need to improve on, hold people accountable for their jobs, if they can't do it, they need to be given more training or they should be replaced with someone capable

    Pros

Futura's strengths are customer focus and professionalism, being open to new ways of doing things, and a collaborative culture.

    Cons

Could spend some time with developing more of a strategic advantage/core competency and a related value proposition. This is critical as a managed service provider that needs to stand out from the crowd.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to formulate a set of compelling services and offerings, then create a demand-generation machine to keep the pipeline full.

    Pros

There are not many, though the "company" will treat you to various dinners and lunches during your time there.

    Cons

Everything other than free food. The "owner" is that, in title only. Short of designing and decorating the office, she's got little to do in the operations. Her husband and his cronies run the organization. Their goal changes almost daily, and they'll never tell you what it is. Your chances of penetrating the "inner circle" are not slim - they're non existent.

Their plan for the future relies on their son, who wants nothing to do with the company. Also, he's not quite the brightest.

If you're interviewing for any sales related role, or a "non support" role - something that isn't considered "day to day," be cautious. You'll be used and abused. If you come to the organization with contacts, don't share them. If you come with clients, they too, will be stolen.

    DO NOT TRUST ANYONE HERE.
