I worked at GCA Services part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Can become in charge of maintenance of building once you work at a location for long enough. Pay increases then.

Cons

Managers are not always the best. Some co-workers tend to slack off.

Advice to Management

Help obtain materials, listen to employees concerns more.

    Pros

    Flexible schedule and easy money.

    Cons

    Managements will throw you under the bus at anytime to cover themselves. As H/R, you can't make any decisions and you don't have a voice sometime rule are not followed and the company does not follow its culture (there are a lot of dishonesty)

    Advice to Management

    Managements are hypocrite, not a good company to work for since they don't value their culture and there is not career opportunities.

    I worked at GCA Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Pay was decent, interview was easy.

    Cons

    The management will do or say anything to get a contract. Once the contract is signed, the Account Manager is responsible to fulfill the impossible contract. There is never enough money in the budget for supplies and upper management only cares about the bottom line at any expense, including mass layoffs. The Account Manager is expected to work between 12-16 hour days and most weekends. Worst job I ever had.

    Advice to Management

    Care about your employees more, without them you wouldn't have a job or a company. It's a hard enough profession...a little support from the top would help. Pay your workers better. As an Account Manager, I was paid well but my employees made minimum wage. And I was powerless to do anything about it.
