Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at GE full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

- Learn a lot
- Have a ton of responsibility
- Move up quickly as long as you have the right connections

Cons

- No work/life balance
- Higher expectations of people without children
- Constant finger pointing
- It's all about who you know, not necessarily what you do

Advice to Management

Feedback on how to improve is always valuable, but a pat-on-the-back (or maybe a thank you) can be motivating every now and again.

I have been working at GE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Many different projects, wide spectrum of people (with diverse scientific backgrounds), connection between research center and GE businesses

    Cons

Sometimes technical depth is missing, projects are on annual cycles, poor continuity of projects, politics like in every large company

    Advice to Management

focus more on technical advancement and innovation than on EHS
