    Pros

I have acquired so many skills while working at GE. The challenge is that it is an enormous bureaucracy.

    Cons

In a huge company like this, sometimes the simplest things become very difficult.

    Advice to Management

Keep promoting from within. Some of the most loyal employees started their careers at GE

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

    - Amazing lab/component-development and testing capabilities
    - Direct access to manufacturing and repair
    - Largest installed fleet of gas turbines

    Cons

    - Too many people leading to too much politics
    - Very limited room for creativity because of management constraints and work being over-divided among people
    - Very poor management.. more textbook and hypocritical

    Advice to Management

    - Be open to feedback
    - A big reward for engineers is mastering the subject and getting a sense of ownership and belonging to a product.. monetary rewards only dilute motivation
    - There is very limited room for our creativity.. there are too many people and too little work
    - There is an appearance of empire building and boss-pleasing
    - Projects change too often and there is hardly any constancy before team and projects change
