    Pros

Quality of client brands that you get to work on is very good. Some of the creative team are very good.

    Cons

Lack of process within new business and planning really impedes the quality of output. Very mixed talent in account management.

    Advice to Management

Improve the quality and number of strategic thinkers that can lead pitch process and planning for current client business - many account team members are good at execution but not at strategic thinking.

    Pros

GMR provides a great opportunity for new graduates.
You gain a ton of experience right out of the gates.
People are nice, welcoming, energetic and for the most part, happy to be there.
The environment encourages creativity and new ways of doing things.

    Cons

You aren't given much of a work/life balance. This is okay when you are starting out, especially because the firm is comprised of a lot of fun people, so you may not mind that your work life is also your personal life. If this isn't attractive to you, GMR might not be a fit.
    Salaries are below market rates.
Some people can't handle the "fun" environment and don't operate professionally.

    Advice to Management

Most new employees are very excited to work at GMR when they start, despite the lower salaries. Most employees leave frustrated because they put their hearts into the company but don't see much opportunity for growth or pay increases. All in all, I think GMR gives new grads a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of an exciting industry, but not as many people stay too long after that.
