    I worked at Gabriel&Co full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful people to work with every single day. Management was nice if a little slow. HR is like HR anywhere. Surprising opportunities for internal advancement. A world-class product made by CEOs that care about a great product. If this were a review of jewelers looking to purchase from Gabriel and Company I'd tell them the account managers are great for the industry. Co-workers here were very charitable. The office is beautiful. Chill Fridays are fun.

    Cons

As a person of Christian values, I found it scary how bad the pay was. This is why I left. There were far too many employees that were not making the money they needed to succeed in life. Despite the company being profitable.

Foreign employees overseas had higher pay than the US branch office.

Great talent repeatedly turns down this company. This is a shame because it has great potential. This creates disfunction that will eventually bankrupt the company if it is not corrected. Everyone must remember Matthew 6:24.

    Advice to Management

Pay a fair wage. Your employees will work harder and the talent will get better. The profits are there for it and too much time is wasted with employees that are overburdened and not giving enough effort due to lower pay.

People want the company to do profit sharing and to succeed.

This can be a true great company. The CEOs need to agree on a shared direction.

I witnessed departments so understaffed that they could not meet the demands of their jobs and this financially hurts the company time and time again. Most departments got the work done in a timely manner. One department though just gave up and would listen to the manager as he complained about the CEOs instead of working as hard.
