    Pros

Loved the einvironment and the people. Customers were often completey nuts... and sometimes you feel like a Bible salesperson trying to sell so many different things to people that dont want it.

    Cons

Management pushed you to make akward sales to people that often didnt want it.

I worked at GameStop part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Being able to talk to new people who share the same interests as you on a daily basis is great. Also depending on the store the rest of the staff can become good friends.

    Cons

Everything else! The company is so bottom line with its profits that they will cut payroll for most stores down to 85 hours a week. This 85 hours is to be divided to all of the staff excluding the store managers. They are expected to work at minimum 45 hours during the week. This extremely low level of payroll causes the other key holders to work alone for the majority of there shifts. This is not only working against providing good customer service but also quite dangerous as theft and crime can be high at some location.

    Advice to Management

The company as a whole needs to reevaluate they way it treats its staff. No one but the store managers make a livable wage and you wonder why you have poor employees.
