Pros

Freedom to explore areas outside of your job scope and gain exposure to the mechanics of an FMCG. Rewarded for performance (in my case, hardwork paid off and I got a salary adjustment). Most colleagues are helpful and there isn’t much competition. Free lunch, tea and in-house gym. Spacious office and scenic views.

Cons

No performance bonus and aws. People come and go frequently because of poor upper management decisions. The company is run by a few old birds. Many young talents have left after a year or so. Long-term employees are pretty much deadwood and many employees are unmotivated. Projects often get delayed by a few weeks to months. Growth is limited as the management is not very open to new ideas. A lot of office politics and gossip as it is a family-owned business. The office location is way too ulu…
