I have been working at Gannett full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great people, extensive training, good pay, good rewards, and attainable revenue and productivity goals!

Cons

Calls can be monotonous and boring. Sometimes, if you're working with a limited number of accounts, repeatedly calling the same business with two employees month after month to see if they're hiring can be nerve wracking.

Advice to Management

I would say that management is on the right track, continuing to grow and develop in a manner that has been good for employees and is good for the company in the current market.

    Advice to Management

get a job that requires no talking or communicating.go to school to learn how to interview.

I have been working at Gannett full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is good; The building and building amenities are very nice.

    Cons

Cold people. Terrible organizational structure. Minimal benefits, holidays and time off. High pressure.

    Advice to Management

Restructure and get some good, workable communication process. Offer your employees more benefits and holidays - these things go a long way for people that work extra hard. Productivity will not suffer by giving Friday after Thanksgiving and Federal holidays - we work in the DC/NoVA area - people have families and using vacation for some of these things that are so easy to give is not fair.
