    Pros

Great place to work at. People were nice. The cafe was also a great place to eat lunch.

    Cons

No full time offers as an intern. No offers are given at the end of the internship to anyone.

I worked at Gap part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

DISCOUNT, DISCOUNT, DISCOUNT (50% at ALL Gap brand stores Baby, Kids, Body and Banana Republic on regular priced items, 40% at Old Navy, 10% off ALL sale and OUTLET stores, 20% off Piperlime online)
    flexibility with school, schedule
fun work environment (depending on management & coworkers)
Great incentives, gifts, and rewards on company website

    Cons

Somewhat unrealistic expectations from store management
Difficulty getting time off approved (esp for p/t employees). Management will schedule you, and YOU must personally find coverage for your shift, get employee's numbers, call around etc. If not, it will be a no call/no show.
High pressure to get Gap Cards, even if you think the person shouldn't get one (ie college/high school students)

    Advice to Management

Increase raise/salary for cost of living
Ask current retail employees for suggestion, comments specific to their store
More acknowledgement for lower-level employee success, instead of just promoting the store manager of giving them a huge bonus.
