I worked at Gap as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

I found I had more responsibility as an intern than post associates do in an entry level full time position and absolutely loved it. Although at times it could be challenging, I was coached along the way and supplied all the support and encouragement I could ever need. Gap has a great and supportive culture that I think is one of their strongest assets. Work/life balance was great. It wasn't uncommon for people to arrive around 9am and leave by 5:30pm at the latest. The employee discount also doesn't hurt.

Cons

Not a lot of entry level career opportunities.

I have been working at Gap part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The discount is amazing! Working at Gap you have a pretty flexible schedule depending on your management. I've always had a fun team to work with that are all very passionate about the brand.

    Cons

Can get a little unorganized in terms of management because they all have different things going on in their lives and very different personalities. Another thing I dont love is you mostly work with women and that can be challenging because they can be catty.

    Advice to Management

build team with outside of work activities
