    Negative Outlook

I worked at Gateway Community Health Center (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits were good, a lot of time off, free health insurance, 8-5 job, unless you're a doctor or administration, then it's 9-4p

    Cons

administration is clueless of what the company needs to do to get better; some managers have been there too long and know no other way to work and feel threaten when new talent comes in; they cannot discipline people to let them go, they just "eliminate" positions; TOO MUCH FAVORITISM; very political environment even though they deny it.

    Advice to Management

Get off your high horse! Just because you have been there 20+ years doesn't mean you know it all. There is real talent in the company, let them grow so the company can get better. Stop being selfish. Also, enough with the favoritism. Just because they agree with you doesn't mean you are right. Train your people properly so they can be better and patients can be treated with respect.Treat your employees with dignity and respect as well, they are human, not machines you can dispose of as you please. If you can't train them, don't expect them to do what you need them to.
