Advancement oppurtunities are limited for those already employed at the company.

Advice to Management

Seek those individuals that are qualified for advancement from within the company, rather than outside of it

    Pros

Lake Villa campus was a phenomenal place to work as well as their upper management.
The company is growing and making efforts to start focusing on a stable population of people, as well as insurance clients. This will cause the company to remain open when other treatment facilities will be shut down in the upcoming years.

    Cons

Chicago campus is a site that needs some work in terms of management, communication, and respect among the departments.
    No pay raises ever
    Insurance is super expensive
It's easy to burn out working at the Chicago site due to the work load

Lake Villa - The caseloads are too big. My largest caseload was 12 clients, running milieu, and running 4-5 groups per day. Individual time provided for the clients was less than what it should be.

    Advice to Management

Compensate. Compensate. Compensate. Provide pay raises. Provide affordable insurance plans. Give the employees some incentive to remain with the company.

    Pros

Generous PTO time when you can get it approved.

    Cons

Gateway is a machine that cares only about the survival of the machine, and money means survival.

    Advice to Management

    Wake up.
