        Pros

Although cost of living has increased, GA in SD is a safe and exciting place to work. Many talented professionals from leadership to front line. Company is progressing its environment which makes GA a place one can grow and thrive.

        Cons

San Diego is a paradise, however costs of living effects morale.

          Pros

The company is full of really bright, dedicated people in all departments. There is a 9/80 schedule with an option to work hybrid in some departments. Some departments also allow even more flexibility. Pay is pretty good in most departments except Finance salaries and promotions are difficult to achieve.

          Cons

Leadership is old fashioned and tends to get in its own way. You can tell they don't like hybrid schedules but they were losing too many people to not offer some type of flexibility. Finance leadership is unfortunately lacking in vision and loyal to their employees. Don't accept a position or pay for a dime less than what you are worth because they will consistently lowball your pay, despite asking you to do more work. Finance also has a retention issue, so every time someone leaves, you get stuck with extra work and training new hires. It's a leadership failure cycle that never ends.

Do you experience that how long the hiring process would take at Thermo Fisher? I got my second interview with hiring manager at the beginning of November but I haven’t heard nothing from them. When I’ve emailed them to check in they just said that the process would be slow, no time frame. I would be able to get an offer soon from other company but work as contractor. Should I wait for Thermo Fisher?

Booz Allen Hamilton Recently applied and I've been referred for an interview! Any tips on interviewing with Booz Allen? And if I am being asked to complete clearance and background upfront, is this a good indicator for being hired?

Applied for a job a few weeks back, got a call from HR yesterday morning about an interview next week. She mentioned she'd shoot me an email with all the interview details, but so far, my inbox is empty. Assuming I'll hear from her early next week, is it normal for them to expect me to show up for an in-person interview on short notice, like couple days?
