I have been working at General Dynamics Information Technology full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

My supervisor is very fair and a great communicator. Good Benefits. 401k Matches 3% of your salary. Dental/medical/short term disability/Vision Plan. HR very nice persons. Travel made easy. Education benefits are great

Cons

Reimbursement system a bit cumbersome. A bit cumbersome to fill out all the paperwork required before on attends a class (every large company has it's approval process, this is common).

Advice to Management

Share new job opportunities in the company a bit more. CEO did an awesome welcome video. Have not had an opportunity to meet Mr Johnson but he appears to be a really nice person.

    Pros

    Great benefits package withDecent pay.

    Cons

No consistency. Site mgr was never behind her team. Was dishnoest employer. High turn over rates. Lack in retro pay. Checks not on time. Too many system switches that forced everyone off the phones and into training. Constantly. Report metrics were never accurate. Time fraud extremely high. Hr department is a joke. Ethics hotline reports through the roof. Security subpar. Police out frequently due to fights drug sells and usage in the parking lot.

    Advice to Management

Step up ur game. A top playing people. A happy place to work will keep retention rates up and incentives will drive the metrics. Start being honest to your people. Quit deleting critical emails from folks. Start paying people fairly when you owe them money. Start paying your bills appropriately and take some accountability for a new site that was always at the bottom.

    Pros

The pay was nice for the amount of work you had to do. Sometimes if calls were slow you literally just sat there.
You could get hired into other positions as they hire within
shift bids allowed you to change your shift every 6 months and if your scores were good then you would likely get the shift you want

    Cons

Can get really boring if you sit by yourself or don't get along with those around you
