Pros

The pros consist of great hourly pay, coupled with great travel reimbursement and a manager that actually cares about her staff!

Cons

The work is not guaranteed and can be very Inconsistent at times.

Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to possibly warn potential candidates in the beginning about the inconsistency of the job market based on geographic location.

    Pros

If you're a freelance Art Director you can stay busy but not strain yourself.
If you can get on with an Ogilvy legacy shopper team you will have a chance to work on some interesting POS.
The people are incredibly nice. They are the best part about working there.

    Cons

The writing staff is severely abused here. Finance continues to cut writers from the staff and then not make funds available to replace them, not that they could attract the talent they need anyway.
Account drives the bus here, and they are going to drive it right into a wall. The largest accounts are some of the most disorganized.
Clients are horrific. They treat the agency like crap and the work turns into just filling orders.
The work is DR and some shopper. The DR gets pretty stale pretty quickly.
Zero culture since changing the name. Once they dumped G2 they dumped all that too.

    Advice to Management

Train up your account staff to actually be on the side of the agency and remind them that what the agency does is find creative solutions. Emphasis on creative. Geometry is hemorrhaging talented people (both on the account side and the creative side) and they have no hope of attracting the talent they need unless they start really making good work.

I have been working at Geometry Global full-time

    Pros

Despite the overall bad rating, there are a lot of pros. There are some really talented people who are kind and who will become your friends. The building has amenities like on-site cafeteria & nurse's office. You can get your prescriptions delivered to the nurse. You can get packages at your desk (unofficially). There is sometimes an abundance of Starbursts in the candy jar.

    Cons

It's hard to say why, but there is just overall a lack of morale, at least right now. It does not feel like the company really cares about their employees. You'll feel like your coworkers care about you, but not really the Company as an entity. Additionally, it is definitely a client-fearing agency. Meaning, the work is generally meh, even if you really want it to be better. So it's difficult to put together a good portfolio here. There are definitely late nights & weekends for not much payoff. Pay is not the worst ever, but it can be much better. Promotions seem more plentiful than actual salary increases.

    Advice to Management

Spend a little more time thinking about your employees' needs than about awards. Obviously awards are important. But it really doesn't take that much to make people feel happy and appreciated. People just need to feel that their leaders have compassion for them and care about them as human beings.
