    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Georgetown University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The other employees are like a family, training is excellent for technology helpdesk work, I feel like I belong to a great group of people, salary is the best around for currrent students.

    Cons

Don't expect to have managers who can lead well, i have very little to say that is negative about working here.

    Advice to Management

The current promotion system for managers is heavily political and selects people who will not do the job best, but who will maintain the establishment, which can be frustrating.

I worked at Georgetown University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great benefits. Decent work/life balance.

    Cons

Employees at Georgetown are underpaid, overworked, and the bureaucracy here is one of the worst I have ever experience in higher education. Although the name carries some weight, I did not find my experience here worth much for my career.
