I have been working at Georgia Tech full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

- Easy to find a suitable mentor amongst extensive faculty for Ph.D or Masters Thesis
- Funds available for conference travel and reimbursed appropriately
- Access to high quality equipment and lab techs to assist with usage

Cons

- area around Tech not suitable for walking at night alone
- commute to work can be bothersome with traffic
- parking permits are expensive.

Advice to Management

- Improve parking situation

    Pros

    GT provides great collaborations and opportunities for all students, faculty, and staff.
    Students have opportunity to receive a strong education.
    Many schools, professors are well funded for research in a variety of fields.
    Fun, diverse student body.

    Cons

    Low pay with no raises, students must pay high fees annually, hard to deal with large departments - some are very poorly managed.
