I have been working at Gilead Sciences full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Rich pipeline, name recognition... that's about all I can think of.

    Cons

Must be liked by Mgr/Dir if you ever want to go anywhere. Micromanaged enviro, must be a robot and enjoy protocol/algorithms.

    Advice to Management

No one is happy. Forced calibration on rankings/reviews will drive all your best to other companies. If there wasn't a recession you would see a mass exodus. Bonus structure is a pittance for the revenue we drive. Too corporate and fake. If i could find a job I'd leave today!

    Cons

Work load is heavy, timeline is tight, overtime is kind of expected. Coordination across different functions could use some improvement.

    Advice to Management

When timeline gets pushed again and again, employee either got exhausted or have to compromise quality of work.
