    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Girl Scouts USA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The mission is meaningful and is needed. Understand the need for programs like this for young girls.

    Cons

Too much work, constant shifting around, decisions changed all the time, constant pressure, non stop interruptions. Micro manager supervisor that is not qualified to be a supervisor but is because of tenure.

    Advice to Management

Many employees are there because of tenure. Too much work and not enough employees. No structure whatsoever. Get rid of them!
The location of this chapter is not New York but in Texas. Avoided naming actual state to give more anonymity.

I worked at Girl Scouts USA as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great training programs for employees and volunteers, opportunity to make a difference in the lives of girls and opportunity to work with other talented people.

    Cons

Budget constraints that hinder putting into place technology that would make communication and information sharing easier.

    Advice to Management

Make sure volunteers are fully immersed in the culture.
