I worked at Glimmerglass Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are people there who are nice and very welcoming. Plenty of parking.

    Cons

As the title states, this company seemingly practices many taboos that modern tech companies try to avoid. These practices are favoritism, nepotism, and egocentric behaviors. There is an obvious form of favoritism that is practiced by the executive team. For the most part, the executive team as well as a few seniors within the company exhibit grandiose egocentric attitudes towards their peers.

The company had recently had everyone take a 40% pay cut for the final quarter of 2014. This company was great a few years ago but management has changed and the current direction of the company is not one I can recommend to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Everyone has to take a step back and understand where this company is going and how it got to where it is now. Take the good and the bad, recognize why this has happened, and come up with a concrete direction that will benefit not only the company but the people who work very hard to keep it afloat.
