    I worked at Golder Associates

    Pros

Good work hours, average compensation, most managers seem to care but do not have the time or commitment from higher management to properly manage people. It seems as though the company is committed to improving relations with employees, however there does not seem to be a plan. Small bonuses are sometimes used to increase engagement, but the root cause of low morale does not seem to be monetary.

    Cons

If you are senior and well recognized in your field you will be respected within the company, however junior and intermediate professionals need to have a strong character and unwavering commitment to earn respect and recognition. Advice to Management

Start planning and implementing a system with measurable goals. Enforce core values of the company, even for senior Principals and Associates. Learn to refuse a project that does not meet the stated core values or mission of the company.

      Pros

ability to work independently without micromanaging

      Cons

Used to be a good company to work for but has went down hill. They no longer care about or value their employees. The changes in management caused a lot of disorganization and turnover.
