    Pros

GS has a culture of excellence. People strive to do the best at whatever it is their job requires. Employees understand that they are each a key piece of the puzzle, and that GS plays a very important role in the global markets. From back-office operations to client-facing sales folks, GS employees are smart, interesting, and collaborative. The company knows how important it is to retain talent, so they compensate well, and are starting to emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

    Cons

The days can be stressful and sometimes way too fast-paced. Some teams are stretched incredibly thinly, and mistakes are sometimes made because there is so much to keep track of.

    Advice to Management

Continue to emphasize the importance of maintaining a work-life balance. There are so many jobs at GS that are overwhelming; introducing more flexibility (such as summer hours and bonus vacation days) would be greatly appreciated.
