    Pros

-Flat organization (good ideas from an intern are given as much consideration as those from an MD) -Lots of opportunities to learn; you will not be limited to your job description -People are generally kind ; encountering "rude" individuals is EXTREMELY rare -Feedback process; candid, extremely fair and overall a positive experience; more focus on what you do right than what you do wrong -Excellent growth opportunities; I learned more the first year of my time at the firm than I did the previous five years of my career -Managers REALLY care about their direct reports and fight for them the best they can

    Cons

-Fast paced; everyone thinks their request is the most critical; often impossible to please the majority of your stakeholders -Long hours; I feel like it's a given - but should be noted. I stopped counting the number of hours I worked years ago because I found it depressing -Inflexible upper management; staffing is often a problem because upper level management is not supportive of providing the proper number of staff to non-revenue generating divisions (in other words they like to run as lean as possible)
