Pros

Management is fantastic. They truly care for their employees and will go out of their way to make sure their employees doing well. The people are the selling point at Goodyear. Somehow they have an ability to hold on to people who are great and very smart.

Cons

Only a few: 1. Not enough maternal and paternal leave. When I left it was 1 week paid for both mother and father. 2. No cost of living adjustments for salaried employees. This always struck me as odd because all their North America unions have agreements for COLA payments. If you're applying for a job at Goodyear make sure to negotiate a salary you and your family can live off of for a few years with few increases. Inflation is eating into the middle class's budgets and with Goodyear's 3% average salary increase it's not enough for families.
