I have been working at Government of India full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Reasonably good emoluments and very good compensation, as U go high up the ladder ur work become complicated, ur responsibilities go on increasing and every day a new challenge will keep on coming.

    Cons

Hidden Politics, Tension transfer, leg pulling, flattery etc

    Advice to Management

Performance appraisal and monitoring mechanism with accountability should be dynamic in nature and required to be revisited every quarter rather than on year to year basis.
