I have been working at Grand Canyon University full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Absolutely love working for GCU. You have so many days off half days that are paid, the corporate culture is great, there is a lot of pressure to meet deadlines but the pay and benefits are phenomenal.

    Cons

I haven't encountered any cons yet.

I have been working at Grand Canyon University for more than 3 years

    Pros

GCU does an excellent job training their doctoral dissertation professors on the process and expectations for students. The training helps professor become more confident when assisting students.

    Cons

I wish GCU would give options to become full time faculty member after a certain length of time with the company.

I have been working at Grand Canyon University for more than 10 years

    Pros

Online courses scheduled regularly with much potential to grow by taking their professional development workshops.

    Cons

Not enough courses offered to earn a decent part-time pay. The amount of work required to teach does not equal the pay scale of work.

    Advice to Management

Ask professors the types of workshops they would like to take.
