I worked at Grand Canyon University full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Free school, benefits, cool campus, etc. It is a job.

Cons

Immature senior management (some at the VP level, however immediate supervision is awesome... would not work for anyone else in the company), poor (confusing) communication, and really no room for advancement. NONE.

Advice to Management

Listen to those who are "under" you. Maybe there is some good advice out there from really talented people that you ignore or take credit for yourself.

I have been working at Grand Canyon University full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

GCU is growing a lot! I enjoy spending time with my coworkers.

    Cons

Some management needs more training to lead others.

I worked at Grand Canyon University as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

GCU provides a great work/life balance. Management was very flexible and willing to work with my schedule. Owner at the time, Brent Richardson, created great ethical workplace.

    Cons

No huge cons, just wasn't as organized as I would've liked. Work wasn't very satisfying although that's more the nature of data entry than the fault of the school.
