    Advice to Management

I worked at JCPenney for about 6 months. That was about all I could handle of the staff who had been there for years mis-treating the new hires. I had come from a salon that I had worked for 13 straight years, so I was not a newbie, and I know how women can be, but the ladies who worked there 'since the beginning' were downright mean and horribly rude. The manager and assistant manager also let them mistreat new hires, as was discussed by others who mentioned many stylists leave because of the treatment they receive by the senior staff. It is very sad, because it could be a very nice salon to work in. I think part of the problem is the senior stylists do not like how things have progressed in the salon, but that is no reason to take it out on newer staff. The hostile environment made me go back to my former salon. Unfortunately the senior staff members who have worked there forever show no signs of leaving, despite their very apparent unhappiness.
