Pros

Brand. Potential exposure to interesting forensic projects.

Cons

In reality you can end up doing more litigation support (eDiscovery) than forensic work.

    Pros

    * Good location close to Old Town Pasadena
    * There is a degree of flexibility to move around within the organization although the latest layoff may have changed this.

    Cons

    * High turnover (42%) leads to low employee morale
    * You need to fight tooth and nail for your deserved salary adjustments
    * You may be working under incompetent management
    * Inept sales managers who are overpaid but not making their quotas in contrast to the underpaid and unrecognized departments that support the inept sales team
    * Ironic technological inefficiencies for a technology company
    * A lot of office politics!!!
    * Horrible accounting and budgeting practices.
    * It was obvious the recent layoff was just for show.

    Advice to Management

You are a small company acting as a large corporation. Recognize the little people who actually produce work rather than those who simply delegate and take all the credit. If there is no fundamental change, the company should go back to being a private company. It was not ready.

    Pros

Great Location, nice furniture, standard benefits package.

    Cons

Management not very open to change, very disorganized. Quick to jump to results without looking at the entire problem. Found that when you expressed your concerns, they were overlooked. Management spent too much time trying to be legal and not doing what they should have been doing.

    Advice to Management

Train management, it's more about effective managers leading a team, motivating that team. Management standing up and owning mistakes, making a point to fix them.
