Online Group in decline past couple years

    Pros

Some great people still around. Work-life balance is OK, but depends entirely on your manager - so if you get a workaholic, you're screwed. Time off is generous, usually 4 weeks plus extra one at Christmas though rumors abound that extra week will soon be cut. Training and tuition reimbursement offered is very generous, but problem is there is little time to avail of this great benefit.

    Cons

The once great group, now called Digital Products, has been in decline since about 2012. Change had been desperately needed, but change we got is toxic and lacking unity, direction and clarity. Culture is now unfriendly and full of back stabbing done with a smile. Plepler traded dynamic executives who knew everyone's name and gave great respect regardless of level, with new Microsoft executive who don't even ask your name -- even if you're sitting next to them in multiple meetings! (so rude). No one wants to take responsibility for specific job functions anymore, resulting in major paralysis and blame games. Seems executive mgmt using this to their advantage by choosing which areas get their attention along with their preferred buddies in new office in Seattle. HBO benefits terrible compared to several years ago. Since bennies come from Time Warner and parent company has been doing major cutbacks over past couple years, the health insurance is getting skimpier and more anemic. Many employees switching their insurance over to spouse's company. This never used to be the case.

    Cons

There are no opportunities to grow or be creative A lot of work Many of these things change when HBO bacame HBO Max and the company's own personality got absorbe into WM. Many of the people who made the company great were cut or got out after the big change. The salary is low Porticia
