Great company to work for - Sales Representative HD Supply Employee Review
- 5.0Aug 23, 2023Sales RepresentativeCurrent Employee
Pros
*Flexibility for hours being in outside sales *Meeting new people *office days at home
Cons
*the Partner’s Conference-always at nice hotel but very boring and you feel like Kindergarteners being shuffled around. They keep you busy early morning to late night and you really never get much out of it. Forced trade show participation -super loud, too long on your feet.. even for us younger reps. If we’re out of town for work, let’s us do are own thing after 6pm.

Pros
Flexible schedule, work from home office days if needed.
Cons
Since the merge of HD Supply and Home Depot pro the company has completely gone downhill. High level management also seems to see this, CFO and CEO both left the company recently. They preach about "taking care of their people" when they do the opposite. I have proved to management several times that I'm not getting credit for all my sales and there has been no resolution for months. They keep setting unrealistic goals due to sales being down- so it's impossible to hit your bonus. Deliveries are questionable at best- customers never know when they will get their order and when they finally do 90% of time it's wrong. Losing customers/sales left and right because of this. I personally have a terrible manager with no follow up to issues or questions and after several teammates and I reported him to upper management and HR, they both had the manager's back so no resolution on poor leadership. All around a shady company doing shady things to their employees all while preaching that their core value is taking care of their people. Stay away.
