Pros

Learned how to pay cut losses and maximize profits in one of the main restaurants under the companies umbrella.
Great diverse work environment
Great HR department
Really personable. It really felt like the company cared about its employees.

Cons

Union shop. From a managerial perspective, this can be hell.

Advice to Management

Advice managers and supervisors to take more accountability for employees that use their seniority status in the union to basically be immortal to anything.

    Cons

Managers need to work a little bit more, the hours were never the same, Managers favored certain people over others, Some of the coworkers did not do anything. Some customers were very picky, Good manages left the company or were moved from locations.

    Advice to Management

Need to know how to keep the same schedule also need to not favor people and need to move people up from within.

    Pros

The job was interesting, always something new to learn and/or overcome. It was a great learning experience. Enjoyed working with my [non-management!] crew.

    Cons

Of all the employment positions I have had over the years [good, bad, neutral], this position [managed by the "Warehouse Purchasing Agent"] was a definitely an eye-opener.

    Advice to Management

The unwritten policy [as practiced by the "Warehouse Purchasing Agent] of "Do as I say, not as I do" does not make any sense.
