Pros

lots of opportunities
lots of work to do
the rare leaders are great to work under

Cons

lots of politics
lots of impossible to fix circumstances due to misalignment of executive strategies execution
the majority of the mid-management are not showing qualities of an effective resource manager.

Advice to Management

it's time to consider autonomous business unit that can help a variety of teams to perceive the project goal and introduce/improve 'the game plan'
global change management tool (GSD R12) also need to improve, the web UI is not sufficient to work with as a primary tracking tool.

    Pros

Looks very good on your resume and it is an internaitonally recognized brand name in the financial service industry, especially in areas like corporate banking, trade services and payments and cash management.

    Cons

No transparency, Management keeps changing and to create impact whatever the previous management did it is immediately put on hold and reassessed and a new initiative begins

  2. "interesting and intense"

    Pros

Hong Kong is the world financial center, especially for banking industry. And also from its inheritance from China mainland, it is more comfortable to work and live there. So it is my dream place for job.

    Cons

The workload there is quite intense. And the employees at HSBC are quite cold to each other. Maybe they spend most their working time on daily rountines.

    Advice to Management

I can not access the management at HSBC. But from my interview experience, I can easily tell this company is well-organized.
