I worked at Hallmark Rehabilitation full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great coworkers. First boss was great. Good mission.

Cons

They take on business in tiny towns where success is tough to achieve. I think they do that with the hopes of getting business in other cities but seems like a bad way to do business. Extremely money driven in some areas, not so much in others.

Advice to Management

Maybe it's not all about the almighty buck regarding certain roles. As was found after the fact, maybe a few bucks were saved but the program failed.

    Pros

Coming from a financially focused company to hallmark which focuses on clinicals is a breath of fresh air! Highly organized at corporate level and at tentative to employees.

    Cons

None that I can see right now. Loving all aspects of this company. They are the ideal rehab company to work for.

    Advice to Management

Excellent on providing a setup for success

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Hallmark Rehabilitation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay, good benefits and CEU courses.

    Cons

The only thing that matters to the management is profits raked through all possible means. Most DORs are ready to make employees engage in any fraudulent practices to achieve RUG levels and maximize their bonuses. Therapists are forced to group patients even when it is not appropriate.

    Advice to Management

We realize that you are in market to make profits but don't put patient care so low on your priority list that it becomes the reason for your collapse. Do not treat staff like they are dollar producing machines.
