I worked at Hamilton Center full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are cheaper than a lot of other places in the industry. Paid time off that increases with time with ththe company and with the option to cash out. Holiday pay

    Cons

VERY political and managers will make your life miserable if you don’t kiss butt. CEO is kind of a narcissist but tries too hard to make it look like he cares. Pay is terrible most full time employees qualify for public assistance if they have children. Pay is so low that the company offers food baskets to employees during the holidays productivity expectations are too high to reach and pay increases are based on meeting that unrealistic goal. For a non profit the focus is almost strictly money and not what is or is not needed by the client. There’s a lot of push to sign clients up for unnecessary center services to milk the Medicaid cash cow.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees like people and pay them a living wage that is comparable to other companies in the industry

I have been working at Hamilton Center full-time

    Pros

Great pay, Bonuses, lots of extra incentive programs for health and wellbeing, great team to work with, room to advance.

    Cons

Intense scheduling, some policies are not client friendly, satellite locations miss out on some of the incentive/health wellbeing programs

    Advice to Management

Lighten up scheduling to include bathroom and adequate paperwork time, recognize the satellites more (they feel left out), be more flexible to accommodate clients.
