I have been working at Harbor Freight Tools part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Flexible work schedule, cool store manager. When ever a day was needed to get off from anything, the management usually worked with you. Also you do get a small discount on products.

Cons

All products made in China, tools are not the best quality so it's hard to sell something to a customer that is not the best choice. The pay is not that good, they start you off at min wage and will keep you there for about a year and then only give you a small raise.

Advice to Management

Pay a fair wage and your employees with work harder.

I have been working at Harbor Freight Tools full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are decent for full time employees. Harbor Freight Tools matches up to 10% for 401(k) contributions.

    Cons

As the company has grown it has lost a sense of loyalty to it's employees between corporate personnel and store level employees. Hiring from outside the company seems to be a common practice as of late, rather than promoting from within.
