Pros

They really care about work-life balance, professional development and its impact on personal development. The compensation was very good for my experience and education. They try to reward employees in ways that are more than just a certificate or pat on the back.

Cons

Its a private company that is strongly rooted in Christian religion. Be prepared to pray at meetings and witness bible-study happening in conference rooms. Not a problem, but sometimes those people are of other religions or do not actively practice get negative responses from co-workers.

Advice to Management

Sometimes communications need to be short and succinct. Not everything has to be fluffed and padded.

I have been working at Harden HealthCare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I can live and work close to home

    Cons

Poor support from the company and the "resource centers in Austin". The worker in the trenches are never talked to directly by the leadership from TX; many of them are working hours and hours without compensation - they are donating their time to assure patients are taken care of.

    Advice to Management

Visit the workers who are beating the streets; giving good care; and are being paid poorly

I worked at Harden HealthCare full-time

    Pros

Heartwarming position. It really is a job that feels like you are making a difference.

    Cons

Zero management training in a field of over 60 competitors. The position had been replaced numerous times in the last 2-3 years, no way to make the demanded quota. Lack of support.

Sometimes it feels as though you are "selling" death.
