Pros

Hard working staff and instructors on Lafayette Campus.

Cons

Poor support from management and HR Department.

Advice to Management

Remove the problem that has ruined so many at the Lafayette Campus...the Campus President. Start listening to your employees who have and are devoting everything they have for you! The students have filed complaints, the staff have filed complaints and no one is listening!!!!

I worked at Harrison College full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Being in the classroom was the best part of the job.

    Cons

Everything else. When I first started at Harrison College Ken Konesco was President. He preached, "Family, Faith, Health, Job" and lived by it. Then his so took over, the pyramid turned upside down and they no longer cared about your opinion or the quality of student they were enrolling. They also didn't care about their employees any longer.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of Jason Konesco, go back to the values that made Harrison College great, and stick to your niche market. You cannot and will never be able to compete with other institutions they way you treat your employees.

I worked at Harrison College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Allowed me to gain a new venture into academics and then advance into a leadership position.

    Cons

Company grew too fast from the downturn of the econmy due to an huge increase of unemployment. Harrison College did not forecast accordingly and let go hundreds of employees as the economy gained its composure.

    Advice to Management

Regionalizing was a mistake. The students were sold personalized customer service and then it was taken away once the College regionalized.
