    -Supportive mentor who is at the top of her field -Many seminars and workshops for career development and to keep up to date to the latest research -Provide free lunch at seminars to encourage people to attend -Easy access to the best equipment and reagents -Socializing is encouraged through beer hours and parties -Subsidized/free taxi rides for those working at late hours

    Cons

    -Too many different projects going on so there is no time to go to the seminars and workshops mentioned above -Sometimes relationships with other co-workers become intense and competitive -Low salary
