Pros

The employees are nice enough

Cons

Sales policies between the teams are not clear, systems are outdated, they check your activity and want to know what you're doing every second of every day, can't do any of your activity by yourself, calls go through a system where they check how long and when you were on a call, managers are messaging you at 11PM to ask what you are doing, who you're calling. Worst place I've ever worked, They treat your probation like it's a right to earn your place there like it's the 1900's, no direction, no clear systems in place, commission is so low it's the lowest of any agency in the city, reputation amongst companies is sour with Hays as they spam and do not oblige to client wishes, base salary is lower than any company I've ever talked to, very toxic culture and the rewards are made to seem good when they're actually quite horrible. Multiple people told me they cried and were beyond stressed out during their probation. The probation period is insanity. Very different getting into the company and discovering all of the issues versus how they sold it on the interview. Toxic, toxic, toxic. Customers do not like Hays and the way they conduct business.

Pros

Great place for new recruiters to gain experience. A lot to learn. Younger crowd, fun teams.

Cons

Competitive, people that weren't succeeding would be put on PIPs and eventually let go. Can be some micro-managing. Not all managers created equal - some great, some not so great.
