I have been working at HealthEdge Software full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Growing company with solid customer base
Should go public or be acquired at some point
Lots of moving parts to learn and great experience for a Java developer
Some good managers and good people in general
Not boring, most of the time

Cons

Poor communication all around
No 401K match
Office environment is drab, over-crowded (being worked on though)
Working from home is quietly discouraged
Morale is somewhat low, attrition is high for a small company
There's no recognition/reward system for employees that excel

Advice to Management

Communicate with your team. You have a lot of newer employees who don't really understand the state of your business and your short/long term goals.
