Positive Outlook

Pros

You absolutely get exposed to all aspects of management from human resources, to payroll, budgeting, client relations, marketing. Working for these guys will test who you really are and you will know really quick whether you are going to make it as a manager for HSG or not.

Cons

A little shady with their Account Managers. Not always providing support with supply orders and then holding the Account Manager accountable once something goes wrong, ultimately throwing the Account Manager under the bus in front of the Administrator. If you can keep a good relationship with the DM and work hard and have no complaints it can be a pretty good job, but if things start messing up in your building watch out! Another one word description CHEAP! They will not pay front line staff more than 7.50 and they wonder why they dont have anyone loyal to them.

Advice to Management

Work your butt off do as much as possible for them so you can gain report with the Regional and the DM asap. This is definitely a what have you done for me lately business, so do as much as you can for them as often as you can

    Pros

    It's a job I Guess?

    Cons

    The paperwork changes every other week and none of it ever goes away, it just gets added to the new paper work you were suppose to do two weeks ago. Account managers get very little say when it comes to anything, and their pay is not worth the job they do. If you even want to be considered for a raise you have to threaten to quit first.

    Advice to Management

    Care about all accounts equally and from the small building to the big ones. If some one has been working for you for 10 years they need more then 8 bucks a hour. And if you promise some thing to a account manager follow through with it, these are the people in change of the buildings and the main form of relations from this company to the next.
