I have been working at Healthline Networks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Health is a feel-good industry to be in. You feel like you are improving people's lives and learning interesting things. Healthline has some good products that help people gain knowledge about their health. There is a nice diversity of people at the company with a wide range of talents. The company has some valid IP that should lead to a liquidity event in the near future.

    Cons

Like most companies, there are improvements that could be made here, both in process and reporting structure. People in management positions who would be better suited in other roles and not managing people. But you tend to see that in any company, so I don't think HL is unique in that regard. The previous CEO was not the right fit culturally for the company, and I think his leaving has benefited the company.

    Advice to Management

Really take a look at your managers from the bottom up. Interview their reports. Do they feel empowered? Does their manager make them feel an important part of the team? Are they able to plan their work efficiently?

I have been working at Healthline Networks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

the positives are a very strong engineering team.

    Cons

they don't know how to build, market or sell products...only rehashes and professional services of what has come before. mgmt team is weak and in need of an overhaul.

    Advice to Management

since i got here the company has literally changed focus 2-3 times, planned, started work on and then killed several products. good people have left at all levels and current management does not provide leadership. the folks that have stayed remain worried about the future.
