I worked at Heartland Bank full-time

    Pros

    You can drink beer everyday

    Cons

Poor leadership, poor communication from the leadership team and managers in the company. Backstabbing culture. No career pathway planning, no bonuses paid to 90% of staff even if targets are met. Poor culture - staff are always resigning, which makes it difficult for teams to train new staff while keeping the business running. Building is falling apart. Low budget staff events. Low pay brackets.

    Advice to Management

Involve staff in the direction of the business - this will create greater buy-in. Reward employees that deserve it. Help staff develop skills, which will impact positively on business results and retention of staff

I have been working at Heartland Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The coworkers are great everyone is nice. Getting holidays and Sundays off is one of the only bonuses.close to home, many branches

    Cons

They have you do multiple jobs with no pay raise and when you do get raise it is around $.05 for the year with increasing responsibilities and work. No recognition for good work. Mo wonder they are always hiring!

    Advice to Management

Give raises to your employes when they go from RB 1 to RB2 or RB3. No raise for retail leads either. Pay your employees and you would not have such a high turn around
