I worked at Hertz part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Training and promotion opportunities. I started in Returns and was promoted to Sales Agent. Managers met with agents to review selling styles and motivated the group to make money!

Cons

Late Flights require you stay after hours, some times as late 2 hours of overtime. The Company should have more cars for sales to allow agents to make more money.

Advice to Management

Hertz was a great place to work, I left to complete my degree and hope to be a Manager when I finish. Continue to adverise medical insurance (it was great)

    Pros

    It starts with the people I work with. From day one of my employment, everyone I have interacted with has been supportive and positive. My fellow employees truly appear to appreciate hertz and continue to look for ways to improve both their careers and the performance of their locations.

    Cons

    No real downsides unless you are not willing to be accountable for your own performance. As the company should, it expects each of us to take responsibility for our jobs and our results. This is a challenging environment that might not appeal to everyone.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to focus on promoting people who are willing to be dedicated to the team and produce great results in a positive manner.
