I worked at Hertz full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ability to promote and run your own branch as a branch manager. Meet people from all walks of life.

    Cons

Long hours doesn't match the pay, Upper management above area managers doesn't support the branch managers. No proper training to newly promoted managers, allow unethical business practices for drivers. Bully tactics to keep fear in employees from speaking up for changes needed to be made. Upper management only concerned about hitting their KPI's to produce their bonus payout.

    Advice to Management

Allow front-line employees to speak without fear of loosing their jobs. Work to fix problems from the bottom up.
