    Pros

Great people to work with and good knowledge sharing. Decent colleagues. Good support from peers and colleagues. Flexible with working hours and ability to work from home.

    Cons

Upper management has lost its way somewhere along the line and I dare say it was at the beginning of the self-gratifying Carly Era. No incentives to retain talent. When times are tough everyone is expected to tighten their belts up and will do so but when times are rolling, only Upper management reap the benefits. There has been no pay rise for the last 5 years despite good ranking but the work is forever increasing. Rewards and recognition at HP? What's that? Never hear of it. The moral and ethical values of the Upper management is definitely wanting.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a balance between the HP WAY era and the Carly/Mark Hurd "The slasher" era. Get back to retaining talent and Inventing ways instead of buying out other companies. There is no better way to increase morale than by recognizing and rewarding hard working employees. Look after your employees and the bottom line and share holders will be taken care of. HP is way too top management heavy and needs a real trim in that area as they hinder the real work that needs to be done.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

You never get over-worked and for some positions, working at home is a possibly. Some of the company benefits are good.

    Cons

In recent years, the company's desire to please shareholders has become a severe detriment to most employees; when the purse strings get tightened, the non-executives feel the pinch. For the past several years and for the foreseeable future, most employees will not be rewarded with raises or promotions. Each year, the employee pays more out of pocket for dwindling benefits. If you are looking to be inspired, HP is not for you.

    Advice to Management

The management needs to become more mindful of their employees. Profits are important, but a workforce with horrible morale is a very effective way to destroy a company.
