    good pay and the people at the engineering level are cool people. flexible scheduling and middle management are hard working good people

    Cons

    Senior management could give a care less about the people aspect. poor money managers at the top levels and they will terminate contractors at the drop of a hat

    Advice to Management

    manage your money better. just because you fail to budget properly doesnt mean people that depend on this job should be let go in large numbers to cover your Azz

    Cons

    Slow career progression, or no progression at all.
    Manager and directors don't move up too often, nor do they leave the company. Senior individual contributors seeking management positions keep "hitting the ceiling", and eventually leave the company.

    Advice to Management

    Find and fire the ones leaking strategic decisions to the press
    In the next reorgs, prioritize compulsory retirement programs over workforce reduction, lo open room for senior Individual Contributors to become fresh, high motivated managers
    Somehow increase uopwards mobility
