Pros

Work/Life Balance
Benefits (pension, medical healthcare,...)
very family oriented. Good if you are father/mother and wants to have time for kids. Go for HP
Flexibility of working from home
Brand
People ( I do not include senior management here)

Cons

Lack of face to face interaction. Everything is virtual
Very bureaucratic
Poor pay for performance. The performance review and grade means strictly nothing and forced distribution is normal
Forget the word promotion, pay rise.....even if you perform significantly well. If you are ambitions and want to progress, leave HP; you will get better opportunities outside.
A lot of American show...lack of pragmatism

Advice to Management

Respect, Recognize, Reward your people appropriately
Be open and honest about your compensation and financials
HP could be great place to work. You have the brand and technology...but you miss the most important ingredient to be successful : your people. What a pitty !

    Pros

    HP is one of the leaders of the market at the segments that it acts. Managers are very well experienced and provide excellent guidance to individual contributors.

    Cons

    The company wants to be on average when talking about salaries, benefits and total compensation. This means that the company is losing some talents to the competitors.

    Advice to Management

    Brazil is a different scenarium and is on the spot nowadays. Senior management needs to understand this and try to retain talents.
